After a week-long investigation, drug agents took $120 million dollars worth of marijuana off the streets.
The marijuana plants were well hidden, growing alongside corn in a field near Sanger.
Officials say this is their biggest bust ever.
"This is probably the largest single marijuana grow we've had to date... 30,000 plants in this field, it's about 300 by 100 yard field... it's full of corn and marijuana," said Deputy Chris Curtice.
The grow was highly sophisticated, with different sections for drying the plants, and a drip irrigation system.
It took Sheriff's investigators about a week, after they started the investigation, to find the grow.
And it wasn't too soon. Many of the plants were mature and buds were ready to be sold in the market.
Eight people were taken into custody Wednesday night, in connection with the marijuana.
Six male adults, and two male juveniles are now behind bars all facing felony drug counts.
One suspect was able to get away from deputies last night by running into the corn field.
His identity has not been released and he is still at large.
