Posted:

Coarsegold, CA- A Fresno man is behind bars, after leaving his two small children trapped in a car.

Madera Sheriff's Deputies arrested 28-year old Fouchoy Saephan for child endangerment, after rescuing his two children from inside a locked vehicle.

The children, one of whom was an infant, the other 2-years-old, were found crying and screaming inside the vehicle. Deputies say the kids have been surrounded by blankets, and appeared to have been suffering from heat exhaustion.

The vehicle had been parked inside the Chukchansi Gold Resort Casino Parking structure at the time.

Both kids were treated by paramedics, before being handed over to Child Protective Services.

Saephan has since been booked on suspicion of Willful Cruelty to a Child. His bail set at 10-thousand dollars.
