Hannity, North Come to Fresno

Erin Fugere and her kids are just a few of the hundreds of conservative faithful who packed Warnor's theatre in Downtown Fresno, to see and hear two of the stars of conservative media, Oliver North and Sean Hannity.

"It's important to us, the things the Republican Party stands for," Erin Fugere said.

Outside, North signed copies of his book for the Fugere and hundreds of other fans.

Inside, Hannity and North spoke to the crowd about the importance of this year's presidential election, and the need to put a Republican in the White House.

"These are very transformative and consequential times, there is a lot at stake," Sean Hannity said.

Hannity says voters must pick the best candidate to lead the country to victory overseas, and toward prosperity at home.

He adds the candidate's name should start with a "mc" and end in "cain". And he just won't hear of anyone else.

Retired Marine Colonel North hit a serious note for the audience, asking Americans everywhere to be more appreciative of the troops, and their sacrifice.

"Next time you see one walking down the airport or across the street, thank them for serving," he said.

Both men left an impression on the people they met during their visit to Fresno, and especially Erin Fugere.

"Talking to Colonel Oliver North, that just makes you nervous in itself, he's amazing," she said.

North and Hannity can be seen on the Fox News Channel, Hannity on his program Hannity and Colmes, and North on his show War Stories.

Clint Olivier does not endorse any candidate for president.
