This year more than three hundred screaming women skipped the Super Bowl and celebrated at a Stripper Bowl party in West Fresno.
The event included an intentional wardrobe malfunction at half time by male dancers.
The tradition at Aldo's nightclub in Fresno attracted women like Deidra Thompson and her friends.
"I'm a mom. It's a way to break and have fun with the girls while I can," said Thompson.
The alternative party is apparently becoming very popular.
The event hostess says a large number of the reservations are made by men, calling to get tickets for their wives and girlfriends.
