
An elderly Fresno woman is behind bars; accused of trying to pass a fake check and being in possession of drugs.
According to Madera County Sheriff's Deputies, 79-year-old Song Thao was arrested on Saturday in Coarsegold for trying to pass a bad check.
However, she was also charged with an additional felony drug complaint after deputies discovered a glass pipe with drug residue in her bra.
Deputies also found two small baggies of drugs in her purse and inside her jacket.
Thao was booked on suspicion of possession of a bad check and possession of a controlled substance in jail. Her bail has been set at $25,000.
Deputies say the case remains under investigation.
