Car Falls 75 Feet Near Coalinga

Fresno Fire crews were called to Highway 198, just east of the Fresno Monterey county line in Coalinga Thursday night for reports of a car over the highway.

The car is said to have fallen about 75 feet, and required fire crews to use rope rescue to retrieve the passengers.

Both victims are said to have suffered moderate injuries.

There is no word on what caused the accident.
