Fresno - On a busy Saturday afternoon, at a the corner of Blackstone and Nees in Fresno, dozens of people who do not believe in global warming held a demonstration.
"To find out there's all these emails that show we've been deceived, manipulated frustrates me, and angers me," said Kelly Brooks, a protestor with the group, Fresno Tea Party.
The United Nations is now conducting its own investigation, into e-mails that indicate some scientists may have manipulated climate data to support the theory that climate change is man-made.
The accusations came, after e-mails leaked from a British university, were posted on the internet.
The protest in Fresno comes, as world leaders prepare to gather in Copenhagen for an international summit, on climate change.
Valley residents say they're worried, going green, will adversely change their way of life.
"Is that a bad thing? Maybe not. But it's also going to put strains on resources...we got a lot of people out of work, they need to be working," said Lee Cheney, a protestor.
And many are worried about the cost of erasing our carbon footprint.
World leaders will be discussing issues, like cap and trade policies, which allow companies to buy and sell allowances to pollute.
And an environmental tax on emissions of carbon dioxide.
"I don't think people realize what the taxes overall are going to be costing them. For example, if you have a cow, you're a cattle person, you're looking at a $175 a year tax, for the air the animal breathes out." Complained Nancy Mattrocce, a protestor.
President Obama will be arriving in Copenhagen toward the end of the climate change summit, when more world leaders will be in attendance, and when a deal is more likely to be reached.
