The son of Orange Cove Mayor Victor Lopez will return to court on Tuesday to face narcotics charges.
43-year-old Victor Lopez Jr. is expected to enter his plea during his arraignment Tuesday morning.
Court documents allege Lopez Jr. sold methamphetamines.
Lopez Jr. was arrested back on November 4th following a two month investigation by Fresno County Sheriff's Deputies.
Prosecutors say a stolen credit card was used to buy gas for Lopez, in exchange for drugs. Earlier this month, investigators raided Lopez Jr's home and seized several items, including computers and an ice chest.
