Anti-Global Warming Film Premieres in Downtown Fresno

By Winston Whitehurst

Global warming took some heat in a new documentary film Saturday night.

"Not Evil, Just Wrong" premiered at Cornerstone Church in Downtown Fresno.

The film is critical of global warming hysteria, particularly created by Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth".

The film also blasts the possible affects of global warming legislation, which the writer–producer–director of the film, Phelim McAleer, calls an "assault on the American dream".

McAleer also says the cure for global warming could be worse than the disease, and more research needs to be done on the subject.

"We need to say 'Hold on. We're going to destroy these communities, destroy these families.' Perhaps we should look at other ways of looking at this problem, if it is a problem, and not destroying the American economy, and the economies of the developing world, for a problem that may not exist," McAleer said.

Nearly one hundred people attended the screening of the documentary.
