Valley Organizations Give Back For Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving around the corner, various Valley organizations are doing what they can to help those less fortunate this year.

Clovis Police, along with Family Restoration Church, plan to hand out 200 food baskets on Saturday for Thanksgiving.

The giveaway will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Family Restoration Church, which is located at 1030 Gettysburg, east of Clovis Ave. The recipients of the giveaway have already been pre-screened.

Across town, the Cornerstone Church will be giving a full-course Thanksgiving feast for hundreds of area people in need on Saturday. The event will take place in the Cornerstone Conference Center in Downtown Fresno at 12 p.m.

If you have an event that you would like people to know about you can post it on our Community Correspondent Page.
