Body Found In Fire Near Riverdale

Kings County Sheriff's Deputies are in the midst of a bizarre homicide investigation.

On Wednesday morning, a woman at a home off Excelsior and Avenue 24 1/2 near Riverdale reported her husband missing.

Hours later, county firefighters were called to nearby fire where they discovered a body.

Detectives say a person of interest has been detained in the investigation—and is related to the couple.
