County leaders will review the draft environmental impact report for the Jesse Morrow Mountain Mine & Reclamation Project
Cemex Construction is proposing to operate a 400 plus acre sand and gravel mine. The site would be located in eastern Fresno County, about eight miles east of the City of Sanger on the Southern side of Jesse Morrow Mountain.
Some have complained the project would adversely affect the environment, and the view. Wednesday's hearing gets underway at 6 p.m. in the Sanger High School multi–purpose room.
A Q & A will be held at the meeting as well, however no decision will be made on the project yet.
