Police in the North Valley are piecing together a weekend murder.

According to police, 33–year–old Bill James died after a bar fight Friday night in Gustine.

Witnesses say the fight was between rival outlaw motorcycle gang members. The fight broke out inside the bar, and then spilled out into the street where James received his fatal wounds.

He was taken to a Los Banos hospital where he died from multiple stab wounds.

It not known what the gangs were fighting about.

Gustine Police have turned over the investigation to the Merced County Sheriff's Department, who have not made any arrests in the case.

The investigation is said to still be on-going.
