CDC Officers Search For Escaped Inmates Near Mariposa

The California Department of Corrections is on the hunt for two escaped inmates.

27-year-old Richard Green and 24-year-old Gerald Turner were last seen at the Mt. Buillon Conservation Camp, near Mariposa, around 9:30 Tuesday night.

Turner had been serving time for robbery, while Green was behind bars for possession of a firearm.

CDC officials believe that one of the men has ties to the Fresno area.
