A candlelight vigil was held Tuesday night for the Fresno boy who was hit and killed by a car while riding his bike.
Family and friends placed flowers at the scene of the accident, and shared memories about 9-year-old Gage Castillo, including his love of football.
They're also raising money for his funeral.
Police say the boy was riding his bike with his uncle near Marks and Ashlan Sunday night, when they tried to cross the intersection on a red light.
He was hit by someone driving a silver car, and died at the hospital.
The driver took off.
Gage's father, Gabriel, had words to share with the driver of that car.
"If you are the person who ran over my son and left him for dead, please come forward. We're all grieving for Gage, for our son. We just want you to come forward," Castillo said.
A memorial fund has been set up for Gage Castillo at the Educational Employees' Credit Union.
