A fire shuts down what many are calling a valley institution...but not for good.
Fire officials say shortly before 9:30 Monday morning, a 9-1-1 call brought them running to Dave's Burgers in Easton. Firefighters arrived to flames coming from the back of the building.
Four fire engines quickly doused the blaze, keeping damage to between 10 and 20 thousand dollars. The business was closed at the time. No injuries were reported.
Fire officials say the restaurant should be able to open again after a clean-up, and envirnomental health inspection.
