Merced Police Search For Suspect In Parsons Homicide

Merced Police are investigating a homicide which occurred last Friday at a Merced apartment complex.

Police say the relative of the 26-year-old male victim found him suffering from a gunshot wound inside his apartment on South Parsons Ave.

Upon arriving on the scene, police and paramedics confirmed the victim was dead.

The victim's identity has not been released, pending notification of the victim's family.

Police are asking anyone with information on the crime to call Detective Sergeant Scott Skinner at 209 385-4702 or call the Tipster line at 209 385-4725.
