Students at Fresno State received a lesson Wednesday about the many ways to "go green."
"Sustainability Day" was held on campus, information was handed out to students about all the ways they can conserve resources.
Organizers say there's a real push on campus to let students know that a few little changes can help reduce their carbon footprint.
Aliaia Howell, Sustainability Coordinator, said, "If they can use the least amount of paper as possible that's one way and that in fact, it would save them some money, instead of them having to spend money. Not using bottled water is another way."
Fresno State has become one of more than 350 Universities in 40 countries to pledge a commitment to global sustainability.
