Food Distribution Held In Huron

Posted:

Families coping with the water crisis on the westside will receive some help on Thursday.

A food distribution will take place this morning at 8 a.m., at the Rancho Inn in Huron. The Rancho Inn is located along Lassen Ave.

Huron is an ag town of about 7,000 in Fresno county, whose population swells to more than double or triple that amount during harvest season.

Families will have to show proof they have been affected by the water crisis, and they are not receiving any other aid.

You can find a list of other food distribution's near you at http://www.communityfoodbank.net/howtogetfood/pdf/U%20S%20D%20A%20%20directory.pdf .
