Fisherman Found Dead In Yosemite National Park

Posted:

Park Officials for Yosemite National Park have confirmed the death of a local fisherman.

The man, identified as 62-year-old Keith Robinson of Midpines, was found dead near Windy Point. Officials believe he died from injuries suffered in a fall.

Robinson was last seen alive on Monday, when he left his home for an overnight fishing trip.

Park Officials say Windy Point is a designated pull-out along the side of Highway 140 located just west of Arch Rock Entrance Station. Access to the river from the pull-out consists of steep rocky terrain.
