Families of the four victims killed in a deadly crash last week outside of Huron are suing.
The lawsuit, which was filed on August 6th in Fresno County Superior court, seeks unlimited compensation.
It targets the driver, Ernesto Escalente, and Panella Trucking Inc., the company he was working for.
According to the CHP, Escalante is said to have been driving his tomato truck, when he ran a stop sign, shearing the top of another car which had been carrying the five victims, four of whom were killed instantly.
39-year-old Angel Nunez, 27-year-old Nelson Nunez, 25-year-old Jose Miguel Menjivar and 21-year-old Antonio Menjivar were all killed in the accident.
Memorial services for the victims continue tonight in Mendota.
