
Fresno firefighters say working smoke detectors saved a Fresno County Family early Tuesday morning, after flames ripped through their home.
The incident occurred on White Ave. near Helm, around 12:30 a.m. Investigators say an electrical fire started in the home's living room.
Fortunatly the family's smoke detector woke them, and they were able to get out of the home safely.
One person was taken to the hospital due to smoke inhalation, but no one else was hurt.
Damage is estimated at approximately $150,000 dollars.
