Fresno, CA- One Valley fan of the King of Pop woke up with regret Tuesday morning, to realize he missed the memorial.
Johnny Dimaggio, of Fresno, was one of nearly two million people to request a ticket to Jackson's memorial at the Staples Center.
He says he did not check his email until this morning, when he realized he had won a pair, but it was too late.
Dimaggio says it was hard to shake the disappointment, but even more hard to break the news to his wife.
"I was in disbelief, one, and two, I didn't want to call my wife because I know I'd...well, that kind of explains itself. I'm making her dinner tonight, so...hopefully everything will be okay," Dimaggio says.
Like many, Dimaggio watched the memorial with his wife from the comfort of his home.
