'Dogs Open Road Schedule With Win At NAU
The Fresno State basketball team overcame 20 turnovers Tuesday night for a 65-59 win at Northern Arizona.
Sylvester Seay led the way with 22 points for the Bulldogs. Fresno State's Paul George had a double-double. George scored 15 points and grabbed ten rebounds.
The Bulldogs, off to a 2-0 start, will be at Seattle University Thursday night.

'Dogs Seek To Regain Respect Against Louisiana Tech
The Fresno State football team will be playing for redemption Saturday when the Bulldogs host Louisiana Tech in their final home game of the season.
18 seniors will be honored as the team tries to bounce back. The Bulldogs had a five-game winning streak snapped Saturday by a 52-21 loss to Nevada.
That lopsided defeat left Fresno State looking for answers, and yearning for the chance to regain a measure of respect.

According to Coach Pat Hill and teammates, Ryan Mathews is doing well a day after suffering a concussion. He will have more tests Monday, but as of right now, they do expect him to play Saturday.

The Bulldogs give up 461 yards rushing, and get waxed 52-14 in Reno. Ryan Mathews left the game in the 2nd quarter with a concussion. He'll be re-evaluated in 48 hours.

Fresno State Volleyball Falls To Nevada
It was Fresno State against Nevada in volleyball Monday night.
And the Bulldogs got off to a good start, winning the first game on a 16-kill night for Kelli Parker.
Lauren Berger had 13 kills for Fresno State while Marissa Brand added ten.
But the Wolf Pack won the final three games to take the match, 3-1.

The Valley can now claim two Major League Baseball managers.
Former Selma High star Bobby Cox, who will be entering his final season with the Braves, was joined today by Brad Mills, who has been hired as the new manager of the Houston Astros.
Mills, who was born and raised in Exeter, was one of ten candidates to interview for the job.
This will be Mills' first shot as a full time skipper in the big leagues.
